About Art by Hazra
Hi! I'm Hazra and I founded Art by Hazra in 2020 after being made redundant, just before the pandemic hit.
I found my love for calligraphy art during my GCSE's. I found this was the best way I could show my love and support for my favourite artists and bands.
When Covid-19 hit, and morale was down, I created a range of handmade calligraphy lyrics and quotes to spread positivity, self love and motivation. After being told by friends and family I should sell these, I then expanded my services to create Personalised Gifts, Wedding Stationery and my favourite, Greeting Cards!
All Art by Hazra items are hand designed or handmade in the UK by myself. Bringing smiles to everyone's faces around the world. You can find lots of customer reviews on my Etsy Shop.
Many of the products and items I offer are inspired by TV Shows, Movies and brands which I am personally passionate and interested in. I love the Marvel Cinematic Universe, especially the different personalities of all the characters. My favourite TV Show is The US Office. Dwight is my favourite character and I love how weird he is! I love to design cards and prints according to the personality of the show and characters. I have so much fun playing around with quotes, scenes and wording for each design I make.
I am now expanding my expertise EVEN more, by doing a college course in Graphics and Digital Design! I am having so much fun learning so many new things with Adobe. If you would like to see any of the work I have completed, check out my portfolio, where I showcase some of my favourite projects.
I have specifically chosen all of the colours in my logo and this is my colour palette. I have 2 shades of Blue, Burgundy and White. The Light Blue is called Verdigris which I have had since I first opened Art by Hazra. This is a light colour which is welcoming, friendly which I feel is very important in my profession. I then have Oxford Blue, a dark blue which gives elegance and intelligence. I then have Burgundy in my colour palette for some warmth and it also is associated with ambition. Lastly, the white is actually Baby Powder which is slightly off white. This colour is for accents and text which works well with every other colour in the palette.

Making a Difference, Together!
Art by Hazra aims to be as environmentally friendly as possible. Which is why all new products are created as mock ups and designed digitally first. This is to reduce paper waste and only use stock/ paper when needed. And any "rejected" items are then used for display images or tests. I also reuse packaging! Any parcel boxes my household receives, the packaging is most definitely reused. I believe we should all be doing anything we can for the environment, whether small or big, it makes a huge difference if we all worked together!
